So my girlfriends flight home to visit family in Spain has got cancelled and is understandably very upset.

Ryanair offers a rebooking of the outward flight supposedly for free but each time I try and do it it tries to charge us. Will they then compensate us retrospectively? Completely flummoxed.

Anyone got previous on this?
