there were a few positives last week, but on a flat track I'm not sure they mean all that much. plus our openers look frail. hopefully we can get a decent wicket up in Leeds and Sri Lanka give them a real test against some albeit not that fast but tidy bowling.

Could be the last time we see Sangakkara and Jayawardene in test matches over here, but who knows, they're still better and in better form than almost all of the current England team.
