and I got to the changing room a couple minutes late.

as I went in, I noticed my mates stuff knocking about unattended, but no sign of him.

next minute, I heard the cubicle door open and my pal popped out. no flush though!

for some reason, I then asked him if he had had a nice shit. not sure where these words came from...some sort of toilet anxiety, I presume.

anyway, he told me he hadn't been able to go, made some other remark, then went to shake my hand (our usual greeting)

I immediately recoiled and just looked at the floor, or something.

he was clearly irked, so I tried to explain that although he didn't actually take a shit, he had a)opened the door and b)touched the toilet seat.

he didn't take it well and the next 20 minutes were awkward and shit. I let him win the first game and complimented him on his shot selection. we shook at the end of the game (I figured the sweat would wash any impurities away)

then I went home.

so yeah, this is what everybody would do, yeah?
