i was the front passenger in a car at the weekend and the lane we were driving down had a gate that needed swinging open. after i'd opened it instead of just standing at the side of it and waiting for the car to drive past me so i could then close it again behind us and get back in the car, i just got back in the car straight away, to much laughter and deserved ridicule. we then drove about two metres so we were inside the gate and i had to get out again to close it. why did i get back in the car and why do i always do really stupid things like that? i always end up being laughed at whenever i go somewhere cos it's guaranteed i'll do something like that at some point and i think it makes me nervous
