So I posted a few months ago when I thought I wanted to end it with my girlfriend of 5 years, but the timing wasn't right. Well...things are no better, so I think it's time. She's going to her parents in two weeks, I figure just before then is as good a time as any, as neither of us know many people here (probably why I'm on DiS tbh).

What are your best/worst experiences of break ups and what advice would you give based on that?
