Trying to apply for a new passport - mine expired in 2005. That passport was my first and in the photo i'm 12 (and look about 7.) A few years after it expired - when I was waiting for my driving licence to come back from the student loans co. - I foolishly decided to use a craft knife to try and 'remove' the baby faced picture and replace it with a current one. This didn't work, obviously.

It should be returned with the application because it's an uncancelled passport but i'm not sure if the aforementioned will cause huge delays (i'm going away at the end of July.)

Suggestions/Experience/Advice???
