Looking for some new stuff to watch. Had a quick read of the telly threads i could find. Obviously most of the better or more high-profile stuff have their own threads, but just looking for general recommendations really, stuff people have watched and liked, or the programs they're looking forward to later in the year...

True Detective - brilliant dark US cop series with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
Fargo - serial version of the film on FX only let down by Tim from the Office talkin' funny.
House of Cards - second series of Kevin Spacey's often to-cam slick political thriller
Salamander - Flemish cop series, pretty good, aye.

LOOKING FORWARD TO:
The Game - BBC1 6-part MI5 drama with Brian Cox.
Halt and Catch Fire - AMC drama about the US computer boom of the early 80s, looks better than 'Silicone Valley'.
Fortitude - the bird out of The Killing in some sort of Scandi/UK crossover.
The Fall - second serving of Northern Irish police drama with Scully out of X-Files.

I'm only up to Series 3 of Mad Men, and am definitely not interested in anything with vampires or little fucking elfy kings or dragons. Mainly like crime dramas, but will watch most British, American or Scandinavian stuff.
