dear people with technical knowledge,

how practical would it be, to get a projector instead of a TV? Room is 4.8m across, would like to put a projector on the wall and be able to play big screen projections on opposite wall (painted matt white) ... can you get projectors which have digital TV receptors built in? what are the practical implications of doing this instead of having a tv?? I understand it would be easy enough to plug in the iPad to stream netflix on it... ??
