dunno how to phrase this, but who has had the most career longevity/prominence from just doing one or two good things a long time ago?

you know, people like bob geldof and i don't like mondays, inexplicably he's still a household name 35 years later.

think samuel L has been in one good film ever, maybe two, but still universally liked.
