Risotto - is it ever anything than completely underwhelming after the third forkful?
What am I doing wrong? Even using the homemade stock from the roast chicken from last w/e.... and generous amounts of the vino, getting some shrooms in there, ... pancetta.... nothing but dullsville.
I am on the verge turning my back on the risotto game once and for all, unless someone can come up with a knockout recipe.... if, indeed, they exist.
