The other day a friend - who I generally talk to online and occasionally meet for a pint - suddenly called. Thought there might be a specific reason but actually it was just to say hello and chat.

It struck me that this doesn't happen often any more, and I ended up appreciating the effort taken immensely.

Do you still actually call people or is it all text/online until you meet in person?
