Basically, I went on a date last night. I was a bit unsure of him from the offset (11 year age difference), but for some reason I've convinced myself to step out of my comfort zone a bit more. So anyway, in a pub beer garden, and it's fine for a while. Then the garden empties and he starts getting a bit, well, Nigel-Evansy, and I'm not really into it. However, I just...let it happen, don't ask him to stop, or protest, just sit there and wait until I can go home and get away from him.
Is this a thing for anyone else? Do you put up with stuff you'd rather not do, simply because it would be a bit awkward to kick up a fuss?
