the vocals were female and sung in this really deep throaty voice, a bit like Whitney Houston. I've spent a large chunk of this morning searching for this song online, but i don't think it exists.

it was a pretty good song and is stuck in my head still. closest genre would probably be quiet-storm rnb. i think it would have considerable mass appeal, but i can't play or sing so will have to ask someone else to record it. in fact it would be amazing to actually hear it for real.
