My nephews are all of this breed, but my social life doesn't really bring me into contact with them. On the one hand, they're a bit boring and are going to all vote tory if/when they care about such things. On the other hand they seem polite and look less likely to take turns to stamp on a goth's head for kicks- and really don't feel nostalgic for that shit. Perhaps a generation that love themselves will be less destructive that ones who don't. Or is this narcissism only skin-deep?
Perhaps young men have always tried to look good, but whereas the trick for my generation was to look as if you hadn't made an effort, these guys are simply unafraid to look like they've spent ages at it.
