Potential new gap yah craze: Poverty Safari
In which Boris Johnson's sister bravely ventures into uncharted Deptford for a BBC documentary, sees poverty first-hand yet still manages to dehumanize all concerned.
I can see this catching on, though - home counties students spending a week sitting on some stranger's piss-stained couch in Hulme, watching Jezzer and getting through the 60 B&H provided in lieu of food. Excursions include a trip to the scrapyard after an exhilerating morning tearing up copper grating from the front of people's dipped kitchens and an evening standing on the main road shouting at buses. Poor people are hilarious yah! Forget clamping down on tax evasion, this is the most effective way to redistribute the wealth.
