help me out here guys.

Me and my thinly veiled are looking at moving somewhere with a couple of friends of ours. Thing is, the thinly veiled finished his job contract last Friday and is now unemployed. He's looking for work and everything and hopefully it won't be long before he finds somewhere else but I'm wondering if / how it'll affect us securing somewhere to live We did have a place sorted which fell through yesterday (not literally), and the estate agent was confident we'd be alright, although we'd possibly need a guarantor.
