My two:
1) Chuck Palahniuk's post-Fight Club pre-9/11 novel Survivor with Panic at the Disco's doomed-disco epic 'A Fever...' - not least because the band rip a lot of overblown lyrics and song titles direct from Palahniuk's work.

2) Maxence Fermine's harrowing, heart-thawing Snow with Explosions in the Sky's masterpiece The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place.
