Anyone ever been to one an found it useful.

I'm talking about those industry conferences where you'll have a bunch of seminars sponsored and run by people trying to sell you their services, free lunch and networking drinks maybe thrown in.

I imagine those who work in tech find them useful.

For me it's just good to have a day out the office.
