Since January 26th 2014 the Greek island Kefalonia had been hit by two M6 earthquakes. A series of more than 400 aftershocks followed.

Went there a few years back, beautiful island without a chain restaurant / shop in sight. Hadn't even capitalised on the whole Captain Corelli's shit, really tranquil place. Crazy roads though cut into the sides of cliffs etc. Quite weird watching this video seeing the amount of damage, haven't heard it reported elsewhere.
