Last week I created a twitter account for this community project I'm working on, and (I think this is the reason) it got so many follows/retweets etc in the first few hours that the twitterpolice assumed it was some kind of spam/scam and suspended the account.

I have followed the system to report this to twitter and ask them to reinstate it but haven't heard anything (this was last wednesday). There doesn't appear to be anything else I can do. Is there? Is this a normal amount of time to wait for response? Will they never respond? Should I just start a new account and sacrifice the 100+ followers I already got?
