books 2014
read two books so far: stewart home's down and out in shoreditch & hoxton and kurt vonnegut's fates worse than death.
the Home book uses a time travelling prostitute as an allegory for gentrification. for fans of: iain sinclair etc
'fates worse than death' is a collection of Vonnegut's essays from the 1980s. same old from him which will do me fine.
just took 'berg' by Ann Quin out the library:
'In his attempt to kill his father, Berg mutilates a ventriloquists dummy, almost falls victim to his father's mistaken sexual advances, and is relentlessly taunted by a group of tramps'
