Can't be arsed arguing what it should be, but just wanted to say: people complain about MPs setting their own pay and rorting expenses etc, so they set up an independent body to come to a (presumably) fair and rational conclusion.

The independent body reaches a decision, and the public and the MPs all want to ignore it. Huh?
