1) Are they really IQ questions? I'm sure any kind of IQ test we did at school was about picking the fourth shape of a sequence and so on, not these lateral thinking stocking filler things.

2) These are definitely smug lateral thinking type puzzles. The kind your annoying nephew asks you on boxing day, and then laughs when you get it wrong but only because he cleverly mispronounced the question.

3) "I went to bed at eight in the evening last night and I wound up my clock and set my alarm to sound for nine o'clock in the morning. How many hours sleep did I get?" It reckons the correct answer to this is one hour. But is specifically told you it was set for nine in the morning. Not just set for nine. Nine in the morning. What kind of bullshit is this?
