Can someone tell me what is going on with this and what the general view of people in the UK is of Bulgarians and Romanians? Is this like some kind of new hot topic that will die down, once the next big story comes out?

It's just all a bit strange to me and now living in Bulgaria means I have a bit of a vested interest in this.
