You know the drill, refuse to even listen to a band because of their stupid stupid name but then deciding to give them a go and being pleasantly surprised.

Also works with films,books,programmes and restaurants. I wrote off 'Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs' as I thought the name was stupid stupid, turned out it's pretty entertaining.

I also welcome stories where you decided to give something a shot despite the stupid name/title and it was a huge mistake.
