Wii U a year on
Just seen they're selling at £240 for the console plus a game. Tempting.
I've read that the sales figures have been very poor, but that they may improve sufficiently once Nintendo's big hitters are released. Might get one solely for a few of those (Zelda, Mario World and Mario Kart). Don't know much about the general specs or functionality of the machine though. Do know that some of the "core gamer" games they would've been hoping would be available (Fifa, NBA) are beginning to opt out of producing Wii U versions.
I saw Nintendo being described as being en route to becoming a portable only company. Bit too soon to say that though isn't it?
What's it like? Best games? Controller a bit of wasted technology or being utilised in a way that actually improves gaming?
