i've been wanting to read 'capital vol 1' by karl marx for a while and thought it might be good to do it as a book club on drownedinsound; there has to be at least 5 other people on here who are up for it. maybe the best thing to do, if people are interested, is to follow the pattern of the David Harvey lectures (http://davidharvey.org/reading-capital/) and say a fortnight for each of those sections of the book, starting from whenever people are up for it? or just whatever works best for everyone. that's the egalitarian way!

i think at the library tomorrow i'm gonna get Harry Cleaver's 'Reading Capital Politically' and maybe do some other pre-reading until 2014 and start in the new year.
