The local Council's pushing a scheme whereby residents can sign up to a collective deal to buy energy. They then invite bids with the idea that it'll be cheaper overall due to buying in bulk with the savings passed on to those who've signed up.

Anyone here in a similar scheme/know if this is worth doing?
