anyway, the chap vehind the counter said 'oh, if you want to get tge best sound out of them, don't play them at full tilt from the get-go. Let them mature gently and they will sound even further down the line'

I placed 50 sniffs in his hand and left.

I want to believe him, I really do. Not sure.
