Weight loss and you
I got a bit of a fright on the scales the other morning so have been thinking about what has and hasn't worked for me in the past when trying to lose weight.
Obviously the long term answer is to establish a healthier relationship with food, develop good long term habits and not rely on temporary interventions, and in the short term to just set up a calorie deficit, but I'm looking for specific tips which have worked for you as an individual.
e.g. for me:
- using a calorie tracker like MyFitnessPal has been a huge help in the past
- no junk food in the house. I'll only eat it quickly then replace it.
- learning more recipes which aren't bulked out by pasta, rice or potatoes
Now you.
