I'm buying a house. I've been investigating Old Trafford, Stretford and Urmston mainly, but i've noticed you can get quite a lot of house for your money in Withington, which surprises me, because I think of Withington as semi-gentrified south Manchester - like Chorlton, Didsbury, West Didsbury etc

I vaguely know the Burton Road area, but what's it like around Old Moat Lane, Yew Tree Road area?

Anyone?

I might go for a stroll about there tonight. I live in Chorlton so I should really know more than I do.
