I've been thinking a lot about this today. I really want to travel and see as much of the world as I can. I could probably afford to travel anywhere on my current wage if I moved to a new place every week and stayed in fairly basic accommodation. But my job means I have to be in an office from 8 til 5 Monday to Friday every week.

I imagine a lot of people are in the same situation.

Do you think we may gradually get to a situation where rather than just working from home, which most people seem to think is the way things are heading, it'll become possible for people to travel the world, working remotely?

I'm seriously considering looking into ways I could earn a liveable wage solely from online work, and giving it a go. Has anyone ever tried anything similar, or know anyone who has?
