reason I ask is the gf had a birthday party the other day and all her family came round.

anyway, she made ALL the birthday food and was made to do all the fetching/carrying for the whole gig. even all the dishes were her responsibility, til I stepped in, natch.

she was visibly quite stressed throughout the whole experience, having two kids to also deal with.

not sure where this thread is going, but basically I said her family are nice and stuff, but incredibly selfish. I mean, what sort of monster would sit there, eat nibbles and shit, yet not lift a finger to help? c_r, probably.
