NFL WEEK 7: PEYTON'S RETURN
You gamepassers should be excited because Sky have made some bizarre choices this week, I guess in the name of diversity?
6PM, SKY SPORTS
CINCINNATI BENGALS @ DETROIT LIONS
Don't get me wrong, this game has plenty intrigue as both teams are doing well right now, I'm just surprised they didn't go cowboys/eagles or bears/skins. Anyway, there should be lots of young talent in two teams trying to usurp their respective divisions. The bengals have the much stronger defence, which could see them through today, but the Lions at home with their multiple offensive options will be tough to beat too. Calvin Johnson is expected to return, but who knows how active he'll be, not that it stopped them last week. If AJ Green can continue his form from last week then we could have a bit of a battle on our hands. (CIN by 3)

HOUSTON TEXANS @ KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
The way things are going with these teams right now, this could by all rights, be a total blow out. Chiefs have the best ranked defence in the league right now, and Houston are debuting Case Keenum (?) so this could be fairly brutal. (KC by 7)
1:30AM, CHANNEL 4
DENVER BRONCOS @ INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Easily the biggest story of the week is Peyton Manning's return to the stadium that made him into the legend he is, up against his potential suitor Andrew Luck. I do expect the Broncos to keep rolling, they're simply too strong on both sides of the game, but the Colts at home will certainly give them their toughest test yet, meaning this should be a doozy. This is a big game for Luck too, who though won't be under too much scrutiny if he loses to the master, still clearly regarded as a favourite to Colts fans, he has the chance to really prove himself as the future of this franchise with a strong showing against the old guard. (DEN BY 4-5)
MONDAY, 1:30AM, EUROSPORT
MINNESOTA VIKINGS @ NEW YORK GIANTS
Ugh, what a mess. Josh Freeman has arrived to save (?) the Vikings, The Giants still haven't won. The G-Men showed a lot of improvement last week against the Bears last week however, so should get their first win against a desperate Vikings side, who's only real talent is under much personal pressure admist trade rumours and personal tragedy. (NYG by 4-5)
THE REST:
TAMPA BAY (0-5) @ ATLANTA (1-4) - Can it get worse for the Bucs? A: Yes it can. (ATL by 7)
ST LOUIS (3-3) @ CAROLINA (2-3) - Two teams still with outsider playoff ambitions coming off impressive victories, should be tight, giving it to home advantage and QB though. (CAR by 4-5)
SAN DIEGO (3-3) @ JACKSONVILLE (0-6) - Jacksonville begin their invasion of London next week. mm. (SD BY 7)
BUFFALO (2-4) @ MIAMI (3-2) - Big week for the AFC East this, with all 4 teams squaring off against each other, Miami should have this (by 4-5)
NEW ENGLAND (5-1) @ NEW YORK (3-3) - Gronk is back, but otherwise the Patriots have no players, not that it stops a little Brady magic every now and then (NE by 4-5)
DALLAS (3-3) @ PHILADELPHIA (3-3) - NFC East division leaders square off in an important one. Both have strong good and bad in equal measures, but I have Philly just edging this (BY 3)
CHICAGO (4-2) @ WASHINGTON (1-4) - Poor Washington, just when their fans thought good times were coming last season, it's all falling apart (CHI by 7)
SAN FRANCISCO (4-2) @ TENNESSEE (3-3) - Locker is expected to return which is important for this plucky Titans side, so there is potential for upset here, but the Niners should have enough (by 3)
LATER:
CLEVELAND (3-3) @ GREEN BAY (3-2) - It's been fun Cleveland, but the joke is over now (GB BY 7)
BALTIMORE (3-3) @ PITTSBURGH (1-4) - Bit of a shame this rivalry doesn't quite fire up the belly as it once did, but it's always a big game no matter the circumstances. Pittsburgh finally got a win but it's gonna be weird given neither team seem to be able to run the ball at the moment. Baltimore have looked marginally better over the season but as mentioned, form goes out the window between these two, so who knows? (BAL by 3)
And that's us, I'll be partying with Tom Hanks tonight so enjoy!
