Under The Skin
Saw this last night at the London Film Festival too. Anybody else seen it yet?
I liked it a lot, even though, for a film containing an abstract score and imagery, it was a pretty straightforward chiller movie. It did remind me a lot of early-00s Chris Cunningham, and did look a little dated, which is probably not what Jonathan Glazer had in mind when he made it. The soundtrack, from Mikachu, worked very well, and the early scenes in the film work a lot better when you realise that they were filmed with members of the public, candid-camera style, around Glasgow.
