Pretty much all middle class British people under the age of about 25 seem to have a generic middle class accent these days (a bit like Silky in that vid he posted).

When I was at uni (around the turn of the century) everyone apart from those from upper and upper-middle class backgrounds had regional accents.

What's gone wrong (or right depending on your pov)?
