I have a confession to make: I can't handle spicy food
I'm a proud spice warrior. I like hot curries. I put Tobasco on everything, except when I put sriracha on stuff instead. I've sampled Rupali's famous curry hell. I enjoy the rush, I like the bravado, I like the way it clears my sinuses. But I can no longer remain silent. My tummy cannot handle it.
I don't know if this is like hangovers worsening as you age, but the horror of the day after the night before is becoming so much that I don't want to go through the night before anymore. This might be my retirement from the world of spicy food.
Do you have a concrete stomach or a delicate disposition? How do you cope?
