PRE-SEASON STARTS TOMORROW. the incredibly anticlimactic conclusion to all in for adidas (and d. rose) will also happen tomorrow. but in indiana. for a few minutes. maybe. it'll be cool to see him out there anyway, the trip to indiana from chi isn't that far so there could be a good atmosphere, but this is bulls fans we're talking about here.

----LONG BLOCK OF TEXT ABOUT THE CAVS----

so, how bout dem CAVS. all summer i kept having moments where i'd suddenly remember that we got bynum, and it felt gooooood. i'm sure his degenerative knee issue hasn't impacted his game at all! everything will be FINE. i love how nobody is talking about bennett, for a no. 1 pick it's been so low key because nobody saw it coming. his UNLV mix makes him look like an explosive post up guy, but we'll see how that translates. i think he'll do well with kyrie though, because kyrie just hasn't had a partner to roll with. can't sleep on dion either, his shot selection (his biggest weakness on offense) got so much better towards the end of the season, and during the off season he's been living in the gym. then we've got jarrett jack (which i think i might actually be more pumped about than bynum, depending on the day) who is an AMAZING upgrade on that backup for kyrie, but he can also play the 2. that flex extends to bennett's role too, because tristan has been really comfortable filling in at center for varejao (not really an ideal replacement but more than adequate) so those two can be on the court at the same time. the best case scenario for the cavs this season is pretty damn great, i hear a lot of talk about how we could get 8th seed, but if you look at the talent and imagine minimal injuries, this team is way better than that. but that's the hugely optimistic outlook, it's also a team that probably can't weather a couple of injuries without revealing holes.

-houston. they were fun last year. i don't think they'll come out guns blazing but dwight's gonna find his feet outside of LA.

-doc at clippers? that's a maybe.
