Just on a train, ordered a cheese sandwich and ready salted (so I could put them in the sandwich, natch), then the guy tells me he doesn't have any cheese sandwiches left. Switch the order for a chicken salad, then realise I need to switch to cheese and onion crisps, to better accompany the sandwich I am now getting. Made me think, are there certain crisps that go best with certain sandwiches? Could a crisp sommolier become a thing?
