I had this gig compiling reports on sickness, immigration, crb checks and other boring stuff.

Anyway, the reports had to be knocked up for the start of the month, so the week leading up to the 1st was pretty manic.

I would have to present these results to overpaid chumps who probably threw them in a bin or something, but everything was done and tidied up by say the 5th of the month.

After that, I had literally nothing to do. NOTHING. now, I am not the sort of guy who would ask for something to do. I'd rather just sit arounnd drinking tea, wander round the building looking at things and generally being a man getting paid a lot to be a bum.

There was a guy who worked in our office who was in charge of rolling out a system or something. He was a consultant and on a whopping 92k a year (I knew this as I had access to everyones pay details)

Anyway, we used to sit in his office for hours on end watching the seagulls on the roof or talking bullshit.

He had this gig for a year. When the year was up, they said 'OK, show us what you've done'

Gonna be honest - he hadn't done much. like almost nothing.

Great guy though, he wasn't interested in being an office drone and clearly had zero pride in his work. He was all about building his dream home in Ireland.

So yeah, jobs where you do NOTHING.
