So those Type 2 Diabetes posters
Since they're currently all over the tube.
according to the diabetes.org.uk site
'Diabetes UK defines a large waist as 31.5 inches or over for women and 35 inches and over for men.'
Yet on the Medical News Today MNT site it's defined as
'over 102cm (40.2 inches) for men and over 88cm (34.6 inches) for women'
and Web MD also supports this citing figures of
'35 inches or more in a woman and 40 inches or more in a man.'
Is there much research that supports the statistics that Diabetes UK are using as it seems a bit peculiar and potentially damaging that such figures would be used if they weren't accurate.
