Has no say in life...

Currently looking at a lot of furniture as I'm moving house within the next couple of months.
Where do people like to get yours from?

Most of mine is Ikea at the moment, but I'd like to get stuff which is a bit less ubiquitous. Got a couple of odd bits and pieces from charity shop, got a nice c1970s dressing table and chair the other week. Tempted to check out some auctions as they have a lot of stuff, and the people who we're buying the house from got some nice bits from there.
Seen some alright stuff in John Lewis though some of it's a bit expensive.

Reckon we could get a cheaper one in similar style from a local place in town.

The most difficult thing to find at the moment is a dining room table, I have no idea what would look good. Want something more formal and minimalist than farmhouse style.
