ongoing Homeland Series 3 thread...
starts on Sunday.
i imagine this will get a lukewarm reaction at best as parts of series 2 were fucking ridiculous. for me it's a premise that can only really work over one series, and i did think the first was very strong.
the last one was just basically about eyebrows, though, eh - Claire Danes' jumping all over the place, Damian Lewis' disappearing by the week. everyone running round, shouting, etc, etc.
having said that, the series climax was actually pretty good, and there's still *just about* enough there for me to dip into it again, namely Saul, who's a strong character played by a fine actor, there being some mileage in the Peter Quinn character, the possibiliy of the bird out of X-Men getting her lovely baps out again, but mainly in hope that the main character's daughter gets blown up or kidnapped and relentlessly tortured in some way.
