is it ok to ask people to sit down a bit in the cinema?
i went to see a film last night and it had subtitles and i had the perfect view.
BUT about 10 mins into the film some guy arrived late and sat right down in front of me blocking the subtitles. he also some dickhead ponytail thing piled onto the top of his head like this: http://goo.gl/JHRGur

i was blocked in on both sides by people, so would it have been acceptable to ask this guy to slouch down a bit?
