not saying I'm brilliant, far from it, but I had a period in my life where I was quite poor and now I'm back in the black, I've continued in this miserly mode.

play tennis - 0p
cycle to the beach for an evening swim - 0p
trawl carboots - few quid here or there. sometimes sell on for profit

its actually VERY satisfying not spending much.

for the record, I'm not one of those dicks who counts money or whatever, just enjoy not spending unnecessarily.
