when you go out with friends, what do you talk about, generally?

was thinking before that i don't think i've ever had a conversation IRL about politics, or hardly ever talk about, say, world news, or even my job, etc, that all conversation i have with other people has to be lighthearted stuff about hobbies and interests for me to not want to repeatedly punch myself in the face.

if i had to guess, i'd say...

20% sport
20% tv/film
20% music
20% food/booze
20% pointless details of other peoples jobs or private lives that i have no interest in whatsoever.
