had a knock on the door last night, which is highly unusual as my friends know that knocking on my door unannounced is against the rules.

anyway, it was some girl trying to get money off me for Anthony Nolan. I told her I already give a wee bit and suggested they should also use collection boxes, as I couldn't be assed to set up a direct debit but would be happy to chuck in a tenner.

so, we were talking about my great plan and I realised she almost certainly thought I was pretty great. she kept eye contact the whole time, laughed at my jokes in that coy, shy manner of a girl who is all a flutter. it was a good conversation.

i made some comment about her trainers being pretty cool as she left (they were fucking horrible, but that's golf) and she went on with her business.

I'm waffling, but the point is, I should have asked her out for a coffee or whatever. pretty sure she would have agreed. and even if she didn't, fuck it, that's golf, maaaan.

so yeah, situations like this
