I've just read Will Self's My Idea Of Fun, and it's so visual and vivid that I think a really fucking great film could be made out of it. Probably won't ever happen, because of the level of extreme graphic violence, but it would certainly be interesting. I have thought this about quite a lot of other books but cannot think of them right now...
