in theory:
teabag in mug
fill with hot water
brew
squish teabag
remove teabag
add sugar
stir
add milk
stir
serve

in practice however the sugar goes in before the teabag is removed. otherwise two spoons would be required and that is unacceptable. not sure what the consequences of this are. colleague claims the teabag absorbs the sugar.
