What are you having for lunch today?

I'm having a baked sweet potato with mackerel in a spicy tomato sauce MAYBE, I'm a little worried about the fish because I brought it in on Wednesday and opened it befre discovering I had in fact brought in a turnip instead of a sweet potato.
Upon realising my fatal error I put the mackerel in the fridge straight away so my question is, question fans: will it be alright to eat today?
